We are proud to announce a formal partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to expand our asylum and integration support programs.

A Landmark Partnership

Call of Heart is proud to announce a formal partnership agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to strengthen our refugee support and asylum integration programs. This partnership, effective January 2025, allows us to access UNHCR's global network of resettlement resources while contributing our direct community expertise.

What This Means for Refugees

Under the agreement, Ukrainian refugees processed through our New Horizons program will now have access to UNHCR's Resettlement Referral System — significantly increasing pathways to permanent residency in Canada, the US, Australia, and Nordic countries.

Scale and Reach

The partnership will initially cover our operations in Poland (Warsaw), Germany (Berlin and Munich), and Canada (Toronto). We expect to serve an additional 2,000 refugees in 2025 through this expanded capacity.

"Call of Heart has demonstrated exceptional standards in grassroots refugee support. This partnership will help us reach people who traditional institutional channels miss." — UNHCR Regional Representative, Warsaw
